Tom Nemitz has 15 years experience in the graphic design industry applying his creative talents in a strategy focused manner for clients, and has developed expertise in a wide array of creative disciplines including print design, branding, front-end web design, strategy development, and social media. He is a graduate of Creighton University’s school of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Among the clients Tom has worked with are the Omaha Storm Chasers, Raising Nebraska, UNL Douglas County Extension, Lueder Construction, Valley Oak Cabinet Doors, YPO U.S. Capital Chapter, City of Omaha Public Works, National Strategic Research Institute (NSRI), and Partnership 4 Kids. His work has been recognized with design awards at both the local and national level and has been featured in magazines such as STEP Inside Design, GDUSA, and Sports Illustrated.

He’s been invited numerous times to serve as a guest lecturer to students at local colleges and universities, and has mentored students in portfolio presentation skills at AAF’s “Meet the Pros” event for several years.

Tom served eight years on the Board of Directors for AIGA Nebraska, where he doubled the chapter’s membership as Director of Membership. While on the board, he was an instrumental member of the committee that brought the 2008 AIGA National Leadership Retreat to Omaha and worked with local and national design leaders to plan the three-day event.

In his free time, he’s one of the founding editors of White & Blue Review, the largest Creighton sports website and fan community on the web. He contributes articles and creative vision to the site, and in 2013 published a book chronicling the 2012-13 men’s basketball season entitled “One Last Journey Through the Valley.”
